All residents of the Lowcountry should have access to quality, compassionate and comprehensive health care regardless of their ability to pay.
In keeping with this belief and with support from The Duke Endowment and the South Carolina Hospital Association, Beaufort Memorial offers AccessHealth Lowcountry, a program for low-income, uninsured adults residing in Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton counties.
If you live in Beaufort, Jasper or Hampton County and do not have health insurance, Medicaid or Medicare and don't qualify for insurance under the Affordable Care Act, call 843-522-5750 to see if you’re eligible. You will be asked some basic information to see if you fall within the income limits. If eligible, you will then be scheduled for an enrollment appointment with a case manager at one of our enrollment locations.
